Wichita auctioneer Charlie Moon earns award in NAA national marketing competition.
Wichita, Kansas, June 2017 -- Winners of the 2017 NAA National Auctioneers
Association Marketing Competition were announced and Wichitan Charlie Moon
received top recognition in the Benefit Auction category with his photo captioned:
"Sold: A One Dollar Bill For $1,000".
Charlie is well known throughout the Midwest for his entertaining and effective auctioneering
ability. He has raised money for dozens of charities and activities. He earned his BAS,
Benefit Auctioneer Specialist, designation which is held by an estimated 200 members of
NAA out of a membership of 5,000.
The winning photo was taken of Charlie in action at the annual live auction for The Lord's Diner
at the St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Andover, Kansas.
The annual NAA marketing competition includes 56 sub-categories across three divisions and
this year received entries from auctioneers in 22 states.
